RAF Oulton Museum

RAF Oulton Museum, located on the historic Blickling Estate near Aylsham, tells the story of a vital World War II airfield and the men and women who served there. RAF Oulton operated from 1940 to 1945 as part of Bomber Command, hosting aircraft such as Blenheims and Flying Fortresses. Today, the museum occupies former crew accommodation and features authentic exhibits, personal stories, and memorabilia donated by families of servicemen. Visitors can explore a recreated crew room and learn about life on base during wartime. Open seasonally, this museum offers a poignant glimpse into Norfolk’s aviation heritage and the sacrifices of the “100 Group.”
